A very long time ago, well before a simple "click" sent an image around te world, travelers took the time to write and send elegant and sophisticated postcards.  From the elegance of the card itself, to the detail and color of the stamps and postmarks to the intimate and beautifully handwritten notes, postcards were an important form of expression.

This set of three reproduction postcards show the Arc de Triomphe - Champs Elysees.  Looking up from the middle of the world's most famous boulevard, the "Arc de Triomph" was built in honor of Napoleon's victorious armies and has become one of the "must see" sites in all of Paris.  For many, the excitement is simply to see the view from the top.  For the more adventurous, it's driving a car around it!
