Murano Milano 24" Wall Clock BOR008. Murano, an island north of Venice in Northwestern Italy, experienced its major development after 1291, when glass furnaces were moved there from Venice. Murano became the manufacturing center for Venetian glass, reaching its peak in the 16th century. The glass clocks are the result of years of experience in glassmaking. The vivid hues and almost three dimensional appearance is achieved through a unique manufacturing technique.
These clocks are made in Italy and have a 3/8" glass face with silk screen printed mosaic pattern
