16" Feeding Birds Musical Cuckoo Clock

Hand carved cuckoo clocks made in Germany by artisans in the Black Forest region.  Features include:

• Birds bob up and down to feed the baby birds as clock cuckoos
• Dancing couples revolve on turntable as 2 melody, 28 note music box plays on the hour
• Hand laid shingled balcony
• Hand carved wood cases made of select linden, pine and spruce woods from the Black Forest
• Carved case with leaves, and bird at top of crown
• Three large weights drive time, dancers and cuckoo
• Requires winding once a week
• Cuckoo bird exits door on the half hour

• Weights are cast iron and swinging pendulum is wood

The woods chosen to make these cuckoo clocks are dried for several years before experienced master carvers handcraft the cases and frames.  Each clock is tested for several days before shipment to ensure customers only receive products that are the best.
