The famous 1941 Steelcraft U. S. Army Patrol Plane inspired our pedal planes.
These models are made of heavy gauge steel just like the originals. But more added chrome and lots of it:
-- on the windshield, steering wheel, hubcaps, exhaust ports, hood scoops, and propeller.
Body Length: 45.5", width of body 13.5" , wing spread 35"
Materials: Heavy gauge steel, solid rubber tires.
Wheels: Steel 10" diameter in front, 8" in rear
Tires: 3/4" rubber in front, 5/8" rubber in rear
Finish: Chip and rust resistant, non-toxic powder coating
Driving Mechanism: Direct pedal, spring turns propeller when pedaled
